Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day (SID) is organized by Insafe in association with European Union in February every year , to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world.

DISC Foundation India and Nahtam DISC U.A.E has been selected as the official promoters of this event since 2012. Safer Internet Day 2012 took place on Tuesday 7 February 2012, centered on the theme “Connecting generations and educating each other”.

The foundation will arrange fabulous programs to arrange these events in the respective region.

Safer Internet Day 2013

Safer Internet Day 2013 is planned to mark on Tuesday 5 February 2013. As in previous years, members of the public, schools, NGOs, industry and other stakeholders are all invited to take part.

Theme for the 10th Safer Internet Day (SID2013) will be online rights and responsibilities.
